This software requires windows2000 or XP or above.
For hardware, it will works on celeron 600, 256M memory, but rather slow.
We recommended Pentium III 1200 or above, 512M memory or above. |

Why my microphone not work? |
|
This usually because windows XP set the default sound input device to "Line Input". (Windwos 2000 customers seem usually fine with this.).
Please go to control panel->sound and sound device, select voice tab, goes down to recording part, click "Volume..." button, a recording control dialog goes out, select Microphone as input device. Then the problem should be fine.
At the status bar, the icon at the right of the microphone button represent the audio wave of microphone, so please observe that icon to see wether your microphone works.
For a full testing, Please click "Meeting Room" tab at left, select "Private Voice Chat" with yourself, so you could see wether your microphone and speaker work well. The icon at the right of the speaker button on the statusbar represent the sound wave of your speaker. |

Band Width Requirement. |
|
This software will work on 56K modem, but it is slow.
We suggest at least 128K internet connection.
Please click the left most green button on the status bar to test your bandwidth, if the result is above 5000byte/s, the software will work, if it is above 10000byte/s, it will works not bad, if it is above 20000bytes/s, it will work really well.
When the bandwidth is not enough, the green button will turn yellow or red to indicate network congestion. |

What is chairman control mode. |
|
Click Request Chairman button to request Chairman.
Click Chairman Control Mode button to enter Chairman Control Mode.
in Chairman Control Mode, chairman controls the meeting, chairman can control who can become presenter and can control who can talk, only presenter could share applications and present demos, only presenter and chairman could draw on whiteboard.
As in the above picture, chairman of the meeting could choose a meeting attendee and allow or stop that person talk and assign or revoke a person's presentership. |

What is push mode. |
|
When you are presenter and you are in push mode, every action on your computer will show up on others computer. For example, when you change to white board view, all other people in the meeting room will change to white board view. When you switch to full screen mode, others will do the same. When you navigate a page in browser, others will do the same. In short, others will get synchronized with you. |

How I could push every action on my machine to other people. |
|
1. You need to be presenter to do this. Click the "Request Presenter" button to request presenter.
In freelance mode, your request is automatically approved. In Chairman control mode, you need Chairman approve.
2. You need to set push mode(which is default), push the button at the right of the requesting presenter button. There could be more than one presenter at the same time, if other presenter push something, your push mode is lost, you need to push the "push mode" button again to regain "Push mode". |

What is laser pen and How I could use it. |
|
When laser is on, a pointer with current white board color will show up and move together with mouse and it will show up on all other meeting attendee's white board or application share or document share board. It does not actually draw anything, it act as a laser pen as in real life.
You can push this button to show it and select another button to hide it.

What is marker pen mode and How I could use it. |
|
When marker pen mode is on, what you draw on white board is shown as transparent as below. So it just looks like marker pen in real life. All the drawing tools will show as transparent except text.
You can push this button to set marker pen mode, push it again to exit marker pen mode.

How I could share printable documents. |
|
Click Driver button in the Doc share panel. Install the printer driver we provide. You may need admin privilege to do this.
Open the document you want to share with proper application, for example, Visual Studio. Then print that document to "Maple Conference Printer" you just installed. Once the printing is done, a dialog in the web conference software will prompt you to enter the sharing name, enter the name you like, then click OK, the document you just shared will appear in all the attendee's Doc panel. You could draw on it just like white board. Push mode also work for this scenario, when you are presenter and in push mode,
when you change a document, others will also change, when you change a page, others will also change.

The simpliest way is to click "Invite" menu, choose "Create Invite URL", fill proper fields, then click "Generate URL and copy to clipboard".
Then you could send the invitation URL through email or messenger or whatever method.
You could also click "Invite" menu, choose "Invite Through Outlook", you need to create user or group to do this. We recommend the above simpler way to do inviting. |

How I could generate button or link to allow people to enter my meeting room with one click. |
|
Go to your company web control panel, under "Auth Code", click "Generate Link", then follow the instructions. You could put the generated code on your web page, then your customer could enter your meeting room with one click. Make sure to ask your customer install our software before they enter your invitation page. |

This looks like a Microsoft bug, resize the left pane a little bit, then it will start working. |

If you are already running web conference software, close it before run the installation program. If you start up the web conference software from web page, close all the IE window before run the installation program. |
